Changed traffic conditions on Mount Ousley Road
Traffic Alert from Transport for NSW about work on the Mount Ousley interchange project
Motorists are advised of changed traffic conditions from Monday 17 August to allow work to progress on the Mount Ousley interchange project.
Motorists will be moved onto a newly built section of Mount Ousley Road and a temporary section of road between Mount Ousley Road and the existing intersection at the M1 Princes Motorway.
Mount Ousley Road between Gaynor Avenue and the M1 Princes Motorway will remain open with one lane in each direction on the new alignment.
Southbound motorists travelling to Wollongong will use the existing exitbefore moving onto a temporary section of road over the new bridge that will connect back to the newly built section of Mount Ousley Road.
Westbound motorists on Mount Ousley Road will continue to use the existing intersection to turn left to Nowra or right to Sydney onto the M1 Princes Motorway.
These traffic changes will be implemented during the night closure of the M1 Princes Motorway between Bulli Tops and Memorial Drive as well as Picton Road between 8pm and 4am on Sunday 16 August, weather permitting.
