Cycling through history

In celebration of Wollongong hosting the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) 2022 Road World Championships, from 18 to 27 September, Wollongong Library is holding an exhibition of photographs called Cycling in the Illawarra.

The exhibition is part of Wollongong City Council’s Spin Fest. From penny farthing bicycles to recent riders and races, explore a collection of historical photos from the Illawarra Images collection.

The exhibition will be on display throughout August and September during library opening hours on Level 1, in the Lab and online at: illawarrastories.com.au/cycling-in-the-illawarra
