Adelaide Cello Trio and friends meets Cellissimo! Cello Quartet: Eight exceptional cellists reunited– Switzerland based, Sydney and Brisbane based members of the Adelaide Cello Trio join forces with the Illawarra and Canberra members of Cellissimo! Cello Quartet for a continuation of our musical collaboration this October long weekend.

The cellists will be showcasing works together with acclaimed Turkish Australian soprano Ayşe Göknur Shanal, in performances that promise both power and intimacy. The concert features repertoire by composers including Arvo Pärt, Samuel Barber, Heitor Villa-Lobos, and Hans Zimmer in lyrical, dramatic, and cinematic works.

The Cello Ensemble is a unique single instrument ensemble, in being the only such ensemble able to deliver a soundscape of rich sonority and colour across the full range of the human voice. Don’t miss these exciting concerts this coming October!
