THE OTHER NOONANS - WE SAW IT COMING

A wonderful, joyous concert to launch The Other Noonans new CD ‘We Saw it Coming’.

The Other Noonans are Dan and Sam Noonan and they have won The John Dengate Parody Mug for the last two Illawarra Folk Festivals against some pretty stiff competition. They are highly accomplished musicians and songwriters and in the last couple of years have just taken the Illawarra and Sydney folk scene by storm. They are not frightened to take on controversial politics and cultural themes and topics in their songs.

SUPPORTED BY : Nick and Tia Coming along to be part of the launch will be Nick and Tia (Rheinberger and Wilson) who are fresh from their highly successful ‘Gladys – A Musical Affair', which they have performed around the country to critical acclaim, They are an integral part of the Illawarra Music and comedy scene and will also add to the joy of the afternoon.

AND : Straya The great local covers band Straya which Dan also plays in. Fresh from convoy and a really cushy corporate gig, Straya! will release your inner Bogan with Australian rock classics but done acoustically for our folkie pleasure.
