The University of Wollongong (UOW) will welcome more than 5,000 prospective students and their families to its Wollongong campus Open Day on Saturday 28 June.
UOW Vice-Chancellor and President Professor Max Lu AO said: “Open Day is a chance to see what makes UOW truly special. I look forward to welcoming future students and their families to our campus and showing how we support every student to thrive."
High school students, recent school leavers, mature-age applicants, graduates and other prospective students can choose from more than 180 different sessions covering everything from academic programs and career opportunities to scholarships, student accommodation and high achiever programs. They can tour the multi-million dollar Molecular Horizons research facility, witness experiments, and step into hospital-grade nursing simulation suites. They can explore professional standard music studios, join live radio and TV broadcasts, and visit UOW’s student newsroom.
UOW experts will be on hand to guide Year 12 students through the Early Admission program and assist with applications. Academic course experts will be available for one-on-one consultations on both undergraduate and postgraduate study options, while the new Departure Lounge introduces Study Abroad and Exchange opportunities - including a chance to win a $2,000 travel grant. Visitors can also experience campus life at the Clubs Hub, showcasing UOW’s diverse clubs and societies.
