How do you portray your life visually? Do you draw, paint, sculpt, print? Is your work informed by your past, present or future? The artist is forever looking, experimenting and recording, constantly being challenged by ‘what’ and ‘how’. Welcome to the world of art where you, the audience, are able to engage with artists’ interpretations of life, from abstract through to highly representational forms.
The latest exhibition by Illawarra Association for Visual Artists (IAVA) titled ‘Where art meets life’ brings together 18 local artists celebrating creativity, at Project Contemporary Artspace (PCA).
IAVA artists are celebrating their 15th year of exhibiting at PCA in 2025. Since its inception in 2010, IAVA members have created a wealth of artworks displayed across the Illawarra region and beyond. Sharing their love of art practice is the goal.
Don’t miss this opportunity to see these dynamic works by Illawarra artists, who are always proud to share ideas that stimulate the audience and create a conversation. Come along and delve into their world and be taken on a journey of life.
