I recently visited the Southern Highlands to sample just some of the culinary delights on offer – an old favourite, Moonacres Kitchen, its sister Hearth in the grounds of Retford House and the Imperial Hotel in Bowral. I also visited Pecora Cheese and Wine – congratulations to this Robertson dairy, which has produced the newly crowned best cheese in the 2023 Royal Australian show.
In honour of Sydney World Pride, today I look at the benefits of eating the colours of the rainbow. And in honour of a bumper fig season, I investigate figs and prepare them four ways.
