The recent call to members, customers and friends of Flame Tree Co-op to support the ailing business has been an overwhelming success.
The crowdfunding campaign raised over $36,000 – an incredible feat – but most heartening to those that love and value the Thirroul institution, sales have increased, new members have joined and new volunteers are signing up to give the store the best chance of surviving in a tough food retail world.
Flame Tree's directors, along with the staff, are working hard on strategies to improve and develop shop operations. Follow Flame Tree on Facebook and Instagram for updates.
