This week is a celebration of farmers’ markets, the ones where you can meet the farmer, producer, the family or staff, and know that you are buying the freshest of the fresh. Kiama Farmers’ Market is one of these. I visited recently and took some photos of who you are likely to see there. I also give three examples of other local farmers’ markets.
And to a seafood market, Harley and John's in Fairy Meadow. The first (and currently only) independent seafood retailer in NSW with the internationally recognised MSC certification for sustainably-sourced seafood. Owner Grant Logue shares one of his favourite recipes.
