Is it autumn, or still summer?

Hello, Thursday readers,

This week I look at all the lovely fresh produce available post-La Niña rain and in this period of change between summer and autumn (although I think we are having a lingering summer).

From the spoils, I share my take on ratatouille, the fresh, vibrant summer stew from the Provence region of France.

I take a look at the origins of the burek –  a flaky pastry pie – and share where you can buy it locally.

I join a joyous gathering of Illawarra women to celebrate International Women’s Day and unknowingly attend the last public talk from a luminary in the field of sustainable agriculture.

Enjoy,

Susan Luscombe
