This year’s referendum on an Indigenous Voice to Parliament is one of the most significant of our time, so let’s get informed. The Voice to Parliament Handbook is available in store and if you have questions or doubts, Jodi Steel will be hosting a series of Together, Yes small groups in the bookshop. Come along to participate in a safe, respectful conversation and help clarify your thinking about the issue.
We absolutely love what’s happening with Coledale RSL. Revitalised by a team of volunteers, it has become the latest community hub and we’re very excited to be launching the Pages & Pints Book Club with them! Meetings will be held the third Thursday of each month starting June 15th, 6.30pm at Coledale RSL.
The first book is Alan Fyfe’s T, which has just been shortlisted for the WA Premier’s Literary Award and will appeal to a wide range of readers. Each month Pages & Pints Book Club members can purchase the chosen book through us with a special 15% discount.
