Bodyfit Shellharbour Launches Free Community Yoga Classes to Reset & Reconnect

Locals looking for a mindful start to their week can now join a new free yoga initiative from Bodyfit Shellharbour.

Running every Monday at 6:30pm from June 30 to August 25, the Reset & Reconnect sessions are open to all community members aged 18 and over — with no yoga experience needed. The classes are part of Bodyfit Gives Back, a national program that sees Bodyfit clubs give back to their local communities through health and wellbeing initiatives.

“This community-first initiative is part of Bodyfit Shellharbour’s commitment to giving back and supporting the health and wellbeing of the region,” said Jen Guerrieri-Cortesi, club manager at Bodyfit Shellharbour.

“As locals continue to seek balance and connection in their daily lives, Bodyfit’s Reset & Reconnect sessions provide a free, inclusive space for yoga and mindfulness.”

Held inside Bodyfit’s state-of-the-art 120-square metre studio at 3 Range Road, Shellharbour City Centre (just around the corner from Battery World), the classes are designed to suit all fitness levels — helping attendees to slow down, breathe deeply, and connect with themselves and others in a relaxed and welcoming space.

“It’s a chance to enjoy the benefits of yoga while being part of something bigger — a community that moves together,” Jen said.

Reset & Reconnect is part of a broader commitment by Bodyfit to social impact. In addition to the free yoga classes, Bodyfit Gives Back includes national partnerships with organisations such as Oz Harvest, Rise Foundation Australia, Souths Cares, and the McGrath Foundation, while also supporting local clubs, groups and hospital charity drives.

Spots for the free classes are limited and bookings are essential. To reserve a place, visit Bodyfit Shellharbour’s Instagram or Facebook page for the booking link.
