It’s a delight to be sharing my business news in the community again after a rocky few years.

Karen’s Pet Care was first created in 2003, caring for all pet types.

Driven by a great love for all animals, a passion to work with them, voluntary and hobby involvement in the industry over the years and wanting to find the right care for my own pets, my professional service began.

Nearly 20 years on, the business is well-established, consisting of myself and a full-time assistant for the past nine years. We offer home visits for holiday care, regular walking, casual housesitting and boarding, and cater to young and senior pets' needs or any animal needs, including medicating.

I take great pride in the professional, quality service I offer, creating a tailored service to suit each family's needs. We’ve always provided this comprehensive one-on-one pet service, so your pets are receiving that attention and care they deserve.

We work with all pet types and with special individual needs. Our home visit care includes catering to specific feeding regimes, certain home entry requirements for protective dogs, bedding/space organising, cleaning and refreshing areas and administering medication. Correspondence is thoroughly carried out prior and during the care, allowing you to leave home with reassurance and peace of mind. No two jobs are the same and each job is treated with extreme care.

A high demand for our private solo walking service continues, particularly post Covid.

Many Covid puppies missed out on development with training, socialising and independence skills and we are working with anxious dogs more than ever.

We focus on bond and trust, staying constantly in tune with the dog’s individual specific needs, along with their temperament and personality.

We combine our knowledge of methods and reinforce your training methods – which can differ greatly from dog to dog. This makes each job unique and tailored private sessions necessary. Our successful walk training method requires experience, intuition and initiative, immense patience and attention to detail.

Working without supervision takes integrity and trust and I can proudly say Karen’s Pet Care Service always delivers a high standard. We absolutely love what we do daily and your pet family becomes our family. Not only are we dealing with a life, but we understand your pets are such a big part of your family.
