Tell us about yourself.

My name is Ren, I am a mumma to four gorgeous little humans who are my biggest why, the reasons behind starting She Made. I am also a primary school teacher who loves movement, nourishing my mind, body and soul. As of last year, I started dancing and I am just having so much fun – my confidence has boosted and I feel incredible.

Over the last four years I've had a few business names, tried many things, worked with so many amazing people and clients, and with each year comes milestones and growth.

What do you do?

My business, She Made, focuses on empowering and inspiring women to ensure their cup is overflowing with love and joy. I focus on using rituals and self-care practices that nourish the women/mother in order for her to thrive.

I host workshops such as Manifest Your Life and Self Love. Both are very popular and encourage women to prioritise themselves, their goals and their visions for living their most authentic and fulfilling lives.

I also have my Immersion Retreat, which encourages women to step outside their comfort zones, spend some wholesome time with like-minded women and have some me time.

What inspired your new workshop for children?

Recently my first daughter, who has just turned 5, has taken a huge interest in my affirmation cards that I created and designed. Each morning we pull out an affirmation card and discuss the positive words with things happening in her life.

She asked for a vision board workshop (Manifest Your Life) for her birthday party, so I created her and her little friends a bijou mini version and it was a huge success. We had a gratitude circle, using my affirmation cards, created our vision boards and finished it off with a dance party – there is a super cute reel on my Instagram.

Why did you start 'She Made'?

I started my business during lockdown and it started with my mantra mugs. Simple quotes on mugs that have had a huge impact on women during their morning cuppas.

I soon found myself diving deep into personal development and mindset work for myself and my journey. I decided to study NLP and become certified so I was then able to coach women in all areas and aspects of their lives, similar to what I'd been working on.

I had many clients during the lockdowns and it allowed me to truly focus on myself, my grounding practices and watch myself and the women I was helping thrive.

What challenges have you run into and how have you overcome these?

There are sometimes moments in business when things, ideas or products don't go like I've planned but with a quick reflection and assessment of things that worked well and the lessons I've learnt, I am able to stay in my lane and continue with my mission. I do have some beautiful friendships that are my ultimate cheerleaders and support my journey.

Who has helped you?

Over the years I've attended more markets then I can count, which takes a team, aka my family. Sometimes I'm at a market with all four kids – my youngest, 1.5 years now, attended her first market earthside at two weeks old. So many thanks goes to my family for supporting me and keeping the children alive and entertained in my absence.
