As the sugar high of Easter chocolate wears off and boredom sets in, we've outlined the school holiday programs around the Illawarra that will keep your kids active, entertained and out of mischief. 

1. Treetop Arts, Helensburgh 

Choose from a variety of school holiday programs including Kindy Gym, Ninja or Circus workshops. Giving parents a break, Treetop Arts offers full- or half-day classes that will keep your kids active and engaged. Their experienced trainers will guide your children through a variety of activities and challenges, helping them boost their performance and athletic skills. More information here

2. Strike Bowling, Wollongong

Strike Bowling opened last week and offers ten-pin bowling and a laser tag arena. Fun for everyone!

3. Hangdog Climbing Gym, Coniston

The Kids Learn To Climb Holiday Workshop teaches children of all ages to climb like a pro in a fun and safe environment. The centre is also accepting NSW Active Kids Vouchers for this four-hour program. Learn more here.

4. Green Connect, Warrawong

On Thursday, April 20, join the team at the beautiful Green Connect Farm for an exciting day of connecting with nature, play and fun in the fresh air. There will be so much to do and things for kids of all ages to enjoy, including mini-tours of the farm and visits to feed the pigs, goats, sheep and alpacas. More info here

5. Symbio Wildlife Park, Helensburgh 

Open every day these school holidays, Symbio has daily animal presentations and feedings as well as a splash park and adventure playground. If you want an extra-special experience, book your little one into the Junior Keeper Camp Program where your child will spend the day walking in the footsteps of a zookeeper as they learn about our wildlife and make new friends along the way. 6. Super Camp Sports Festival, UOW

On today and tomorrow (April 17 and 18), from 8.30am-3.30pm at the University of Wollongong, this annual sports festival is designed just for kids. Super Camp is an energetic mix of sport, music, street culture, art and dance mashed up for kids who love having fun.
