Night work on the M1 Princes Motorway and Masters Road
Work will be carried out on Masters Road between Springhill Road and the M1 Princes Motorway at Figtree over two nights on Sunday 18 and Monday 19 October between 8pm and 4am, weather permitting
Motorists are advised of changed traffic conditions next week on the M1 Princes Motorway between Memorial Drive at North Wollongong and Masters Road at Figtree for routine maintenance work.
To minimise impacts on motorists, work will be carried out on Masters Road between Springhill Road and the M1 Princes Motorway at Figtree over two nights on Sunday 18 and Monday 19 October between 8pm and 4am, weather permitting.
Both westbound lanes on Masters Road will be closed on Sunday 18 October. Both eastbound lanes on Masters Road will be closed on Monday 19 October.
Detours will be in place via the M1 Princes Motorway, Five Islands Road and Springhill Road, with motorists advised to allow up to 10 minutes of additional travel time.
On the M1 Princes Motorway between Memorial Drive at North Wollongong and Masters Road at Figtree, work will be carried out on both northbound and southbound lanes for four nights from Sunday 18 to Wednesday 21 October between 8pm and 4am, weather permitting.
Single lane closures and a reduced speed limit of 40 km/h will be in place for the safety of workers and motorists.
There will be intermittent closures of the on and off ramps on the M1 Princes Motorway between Memorial Drive and Masters Road.
Motorists are advised to drive to the conditions and follow the directions of signs and traffic control.
