Teaniel Mifsud

Teaniel is a PhD candidate in the School of Geography and Sustainable Communities, where her work focuses on exploring human-shark encounters on the South Coast of New South Wales. Prior to starting her PhD in 2020, Teaniel completed a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in 2015 and a Bachelor of Social Sciences in 2019 at the University of Wollongong. Her PhD research aims to understand the experiences and perspectives of ocean-users when encountering sharks and how this may impact their relationship with ocean spaces.
