South Illawarra Older Women’s Network welcomes members from Shellharbour, Kiama and Berry

By Julie McDonald, SIOWN Co-coordinator

South Illawarra Older Women’s Network (SIOWN) welcomes members who are passionate about supporting older women in the community, including themselves, to live fulfilling, healthy and connected lives. SIOWN draws its membership from the Shellharbour, Kiama and Berry districts.

SIOWN supports initiatives identified by members that involve:

  • linking women into existing groups and activities
  • supporting the development of networking opportunities, activities and groups
  • promoting advocacy on key issues that affect older women.

We meet on the third Friday of each month, from 2:00 to 4:00 pm, at Ss Peter and Paul Church Hall, 94-112 Manning St, Kiama.
