Thank you to everyone who turned out for our Deck the Hall winter festival at the CWA Hall on Sunday, 21 August. The weather was smiling on us, and a huge number of people stopped by to check out the new deck and enjoy the markets and live music in the sunshine. Thanks to Danielle Ives, Kelly-Maree Michael and Bethan Farmer for pulling it all together, and to their team of volunteers on the day who made it all possible.
Our one-act play festival has got off to an encouraging start with audiences for both Dotty’s Inheritance and Fate’s Thread rolling in the aisles – all credit to the two incredible casts and directors who have worked so hard to bring these plays to the stage. Special mention to all our local first-time actors – we hope you got the bug!
Tickets are still available for next Friday, Saturday and Sunday at spat.org.au – don’t miss this opportunity to see some familiar faces in a very unfamiliar new light! Both plays contain adult references, so we don’t advise bringing young children.
