Twas the Saturday before Christmas, and all through the town, children were standing, safely on footpaths, waiting for Santa.

True to local tradition, the jolly bearded man travelled via 325 Station's big red fire truck, delivering joy and pre-packed lollies to all the good children of Helensburgh and Stanwell Tops on Saturday, December 18.

Tradies Helensburgh donated the lollies and Santa made a stop at Tradies to thank them.

The annual Lolly Run began in Frances Street, Helensburgh and ended at Bald Hill.

Thanks to Fire + Rescue 325 Station and Chief Safety Elf Warwick Erwin for continuing to organise this wonderful community event, and to Helensburgh photographer Anthony Warry for capturing some special moments.

Happy Christmas to all, and to all a good night!
