Welcome to Wednesday

It's been 'a week' ™. But there's been a nice mix of sun and rain, so some time for wanders searching for critters and some enforced indoor time for board games, crochet and wine. A win-win I'd say.

We've had a pair of tawny frogmouths in our yard, a couple of kookaBUBBAS (you can read how to tell the difference between an adult and a baby this week) and a lovely young eastern water dragon who has been chasing the sun, and various insects around the backyard.

If you need a bit of perspective, we've got 3 knockout lookouts in the Illawarra to enjoy the view from. And did you know we have carnivorous plants growing right here in the Illawarra? Read on for more details.

Take care and until next week,

Amanda
