If you haven't noticed yet, I am a very organised person. I have to be in my line of work. So yes, I am already thinking about Christmas and this is why you should too.
In my notes section of my phone, I keep a 'presents' list.
Whenever I hear the kids talking about a toy of experience or anything, I note it down under their name. Or even if I have an idea or family or a friend has an idea for a present, I note it down.
The kids do go through fads so by the time we hit their birthdays or Christmas, some of those items are very uncool but it is also a godsend. No more panic buys of items they don't like or need. I have a list already prepared, all ready to go.
This extra preparedness helps me save money and stress.
Now that I have these lists, I am ready to go when it's sale time. We just missed Click Frenzy Day (well, I didn't of course) last week where they were selling MacBooks for $20 and Nintendo Switches for $5! But don't fret.
We still have Black Friday (24 November) and Cyber Monday (27 November), when you can buy all your Christmas presents in one go. Most stores do massive sales so I'm positive you'll find a bargain for your kids, partner, family and friends. No one knows the difference!
And you never have to set foot in a store again. Honestly, I can't even remember the last time I went into a shopping centre.
Then I just watch out for the parcels over the coming months and hide the presents in the attic, waiting for Christmas to roll around. Too easy, right?
So will you be joining me in being super prepared this Christmas?
