Fri-Sun, 3-5 March: Get Together Music Festival
The Get Together Music Festival is back at Wombarra Bowling Club with a host of talented artists. There'll be reggae, blues, rock, soul, folk, electro latin, Afro-Colombian roots, funk, hip-hop, dancehall and singer-songwriters gracing the three stages from Friday through to Sunday night.

Fri-Sat, 3-4 March: ChaChi and The Sea of Tears
Helensburgh performer Neisha Murphy combines clowning and storytelling in an action-packed show about facing your fears and finding light in the darkness – even in the biggest downpours. Read our interview with the show's star and director here.

Sat, 4 March: Articles 43rd Anniversary Exhibition
Stanwell Park's Articles Fine Art Gallery is celebrating its 43rd birthday! With oceanscapes by Sharon Blair, ceramics by Wendy Britton, new works by wildlife artist James Hough, plus artworks by regular exhibitors including resident artist John Vander. Entertainment by Fiddle Dance Band, a demonstration by cartoonist Paul Dorin and pop-up jewellery by Precious Fusion in the courtyard.

Sun, 5 March: Clean Up Australia Day
Helensburgh & District Landcare has taken part for 25 years – join them at the Old Mine Surgery. Austinmer/Thirroul Lions will be at Thirroul Beach. Thirroul Community Garden will be a collection point for work on the south side of Thirroul, particularly around Hewitts Creek. Volunteers will tackle the two creeklines in McCauley's Estate – Woodlands Creek and Hewitt's Creek. There'll also be clean-ups at Coalcliff and Sri Venkateswara Temple.

Sun, 5 March: 'Worlds Connect' concert series begins
The first of four Steel City Strings concerts featuring Turkish-Australian singer Ayse Göknur Shanal is on this Sunday in Robertson, Caroline Baum reports.
