Changed traffic conditions on Lawrence Hargrave Drive at Scarborough and Coalcliff

Transport for NSW Traffic Alert: 15 March 2023

Motorists are advised of changed traffic conditions next week on Lawrence Hargrave Drive at two locations. Sensors will be installed to monitor the slopes and to ensure the road remains safe for motorists.

Work will be carried out near Scarborough Station for three nights from Sunday 19 March to Tuesday 21 March.

Work will then be carried out approximately 500-metres north of Coalcliff Station for two nights on Wednesday 22 and Thursday 23 March.

To reduce impacts on transport customers, work will be carried out at night between 8pm and 4am, weather permitting.

Single lane closures, traffic control and reduced speed limits of 40 km/h will be in place for the safety of workers and motorists.

Motorists are advised to drive to the conditions, follow the directions of signs and traffic control and an additional five minutes travel time
