Closure of the M1 Princes Motorway at Helensburgh

Transport for NSW Traffic Alert: 24 OCTOBER 2022

Motorists are advised of the closure of the M1 Princes Motorway southbound between Helensburgh and Waterfall from next week for road repair and resurfacing work to be carried out.

The Motorway will be closed from Sunday 30 October, between 7pm and 5am for about two weeks, Sunday to Thursday, weather permitting.

Detours for light and heavy vehicles, with a height limit of five metres, will be in place via the Old Princes Highway and motorists should allow up to 10 minutes additional travel time.

Motorists are advised to drive to the conditions and follow the directions of signs and traffic control.
