Emergency work on the M1 Princes Motorway at Mount Ousley

Motorists are advised of upcoming traffic changes on the M1 Princes Motorway at Mount Ousley from this Sunday night for emergency following recent rainfall.

Work to install a safety barrier will be carried out from New Mount Pleasant Road northbound for about 600 metres.

Work will be carried out for five nights from Sunday 13 to Thursday 17 March between 8pm and 4am, weather permitting.

Lane closures and a reduced speed limit of 40 km/h will be in place for the safety of workers and road users.

Motorists should allow an extra five minutes travel time while work is carried out.

Motorists are advised to drive to the conditions and follow the directions of signs and traffic control.
