The consultation period on proposed traffic management improvements for Bulli and Thirroul has been extended by three weeks to Friday 30 July.

A Transport for NSW spokesperson said Transport for NSW has received a lot of feedback on the proposals, which were due to close on Friday 9 July.

“We have made the decision to extend the consultation to ensure all members of the community get the chance to have their say on this important project which will ease congestion in both areas,” the spokesperson said.

“The options, which were released for consultation earlier this month, aim to improve traffic efficiency and reliability of the Princes Highway at Bulli and Lawrence Hargrave Drive at Thirroul.

“Transport for NSW will hold two live Q and A sessions online to give the community and businesses an opportunity to ask the project team questions about the proposals.

“These sessions have been arranged because face to face sessions are not possible due to current COVID-19 restrictions.”

The sessions will be held on Wednesday 14 July at 6.30pm and Thursday 15 July at 10am.

Information on the sessions is available at nswroads.work/bullithirroul and there is no need to register attendance in advance.
