Hello, wild Wednesday readers

Happy Wednesday!

I’m so excited to introduce you all to Nicci Kennedy this week. When I grow up, I want to be Nicci. She has had some of the most incredible wildlife experiences while working as an educator and researcher, and dealing with chronic fatigue syndrome at the same time. She approaches life head on, with a smile on her face and has worked with some species that I would be excited to catch a glimpse of: killer whales, I’m talking to you!

Ever heard of Celery Wood? Emma from Growing Illawarra Natives gives us the ins and outs of this tree, that was hiding in plain sight in my backyard all along! And let me tell you, the native birds love it.

Here’s to more lovely weather and hopefully getting out amongst it this week.
