Night work on M1 Princes Motorway

Transport for NSW Traffic Alert: 31 JANUARY 2023

Motorists are advised of night work on the M1 Princes Motorway for maintenance next week, weather permitting.

Work will be carried out between Memorial Drive at North Wollongong and Masters Road at Figtree from Monday 6 to Thursday 9 February on both the northbound and southbound lanes from 8pm to 4am.

The work includes general maintenance, clearing drains and trimming vegetation to improve safety.

There will be intermittent closures of the on and off-ramps on the M1 Princes Motorway between Memorial Drive and Masters Road which will be signposted.

Traffic control and a reduced speed limit of 40 km/h will be in place for the safety of workers and motorists.

Transport customers are advised to follow the direction of traffic control should allow up to five minutes additional travel time.
