Night work on the Princes Highway at West Wollongong

Transport for NSW Traffic Alert: 6 March 2023

Motorists are advised of changed traffic conditions from next week at the intersection of the Princes Highway with Mount Keira Road and Crown Street at West Wollongong for safety upgrade work to be carried out.

Work will include replacing the traffic light posts and control box.

Work will carried out between 8pm and 5am, Sunday to Thursday, from Sunday 12 March for about seven weeks, weather permitting.

Changed traffic conditions, including a single lane closure, reduced speed limit of 40 km/h and stop slow traffic control will be in place for the safety of workers and motorists

Motorists are advised to allow five minutes additional travel time, drive to the conditions, and follow the directions of signs and traffic control.
