SPAT counts down to '12 Hours ’til Christmas'
Stanwell Park Arts Theatre's Lauren Mitsak has it on good authority that this year’s Panto, 12 Hours ’til Christmas, is shaping up to be extra special.
I have it on good authority that this year’s Panto, 12 Hours ’til Christmas, is shaping up to be extra special.
The singing, dancing and acting by the 32 cast members, along with musical director Catherine Rostrum’s piano accompaniment are all fantastic! So too are the wonderfully creative costumes, and backdrops. We are very proud of our members, Christine Higgins and Rachael Kiddier, for penning such a wonderful script and for father-daughter duo, Tom and Katie Peach, and their insightful direction.
Five performances will be held on Saturday, December 6 at 7:30pm, Sunday 7th at 2:30pm, Friday 12th at 7:30pm, Saturday 13th at 7:30pm and Sunday 14th at 2:30pm. Tickets are $20 for adults, children and SPAT members $10, family
(2 adults and up to 3 children) $50 and children under 5 – free.
To avoid missing out, it is important to book early. Go to www.spat.org.au

Playmates of the Year
We are very proud to announce that SPAT won this year’s Playmates competition. Well done to the team! Next year Roo Theatre will be hosting Playmates and we will need a team for 2026. If you’re interested in participating in this, let us know and we will get in touch with you prior to the performance date next year.
SPAT Singers go carolling
Instead of winding down for the end of the year, the SPAT singers are winding up for an hour-long Christmas performance to the over 100 residents at Kirrawee Retirement Village. Our multi-talented director, Lindy Sharp, is dusting off traditional Christmas Carols and introducing us to beautiful new ones to perform at this concert, including those that require audience participation. We are delighted that this is the third year we have been invited to perform there.
