Across Sydney over the weekend clearance rates reported in the Australian Financial Review were down 6.5% to 56.5%. At the same time, there was a noticeable increase in listings across all markets including our area as vendors raced to beat the Spring rush. Postcodes 2508 and 2515 now have 82 listings compared to 78 two weeks ago. Over the same period only eight properties were sold, indicating 12 more properties hit the market!
Despite the flood of listings, there are still sales occurring with 2508 having the lion's share of sales in the past fortnight. Some notable sales across the area:
