Weekend Wrap: Prime beachfront property hits the market
31 Stanwell Ave, Stanwell Park, aka the “bunker house”, is for sale.

A lot of action over the past week with some older properties withdrawing, new incredible listings being introduced and a bunch sold.

Firstly, to new listings as this one is surely the ultimate location on our entire coastline! That is 31 Stanwell Ave, Stanwell Park.  The “bunker house” as it is commonly referred to by locals is hunkered right on the beach at Stanwell Park surrounded by sand dunes, beach vegetation and barely a neighbour in sight.  It sits on a generous-sized 1,372 square metre block with direct access to the beach from the back gate. The concrete house on the site has been there for 30-plus years and will most likely be knocked down by a new owner given the rare exclusive nature of such a location. The auction is scheduled for Saturday, 3 September onsite and is surely going to draw a crowd and a nice big result for the area and team at Ray White Helensburgh (with lead agent Mattias Samuelsson).

In recent sales, a couple over $2m for 2508 area:

3 Paterson Road Coalcliff $2.5m sold by Elle Ritson of Ray White Helensburgh

70 Otford Road Otford $2.55m sold by Mattias Samuelsson of Ray White Helensburgh

And in 2515 another large block of land sold at 24 Denmark Street Wombarra for $1.4m by Kemal Baradan from Sydney agency Domaine Plus.  The block is 9.5 acres and zoned E3 Environmental Management.
