Hope you've all recovered from a chocolate-induced haze. I promised myself no more chocolate, and pictured myself waking up and grazing on nutritious, light, and absolutely devoid of any cocoa, salads. Alas, as I grabbed my coffee I caught a glint of sunlight reflecting off another foil-covered bunny and all my best-laid plans crumbled. So chocolate it was for breakfast. Again. Sigh.
But if you're doing better than me, you're probably looking for ways to fill your days with art and walks and activities, all in the great outdoors. Never fear. I take a wander through the incredible Sculpture in the Garden and trust me, you won't want to miss it. Don't forget to pick up your free guide from the entrance at the botanic gardens which is filled with loads of info and there's also a kids workbook too!
We've also got our own guide this week, on 5 FREE things to do outdoors. From Shellharbour to Sandon Point (and beyond), we have you covered.
Emma introduces us to the Love Creeper, the prettiest little vine that makes a nice change to some of the vines I have strangling the life out of my backyard currently! And Merilyn warns us to be weed wise and watch out for Blue periwinkle.
Until next week,
Amanda
