I've managed to squeeze in a couple of beach wanders this last week. With all the winds and large swells, the beach combing has been fabulous with various fish and jelly blubbers washed ashore. So it made perfect sense that the Blue Blubber Jellyfish is our Creature Feature this week.

Many people know Yael Stone through her acting work but this week she answered our questions on her very exciting venture, Hi Neighbour, and how it can help us take a new, positive approach to the changing face of life and work, here in the Steel City and on the Coal Coast.

Been wondering why your regular bushwalking path has turned white the last few days? (And no, it's not frost... yet). Emma introduces us to the native Crab Apple, which is currently producing copious amounts of fruit high in the escarpment. And finally, Merilyn highlights the problem with asparagus species and suggests some Grevilleas instead.

Until next week,

Amanda
