A winter update from Paul Blanksby of Helensburgh Men's Shed
Shedders come from many backgrounds, but they all share a love for good food, conversation, and community – especially around a cosy fire with friendly faces.
On a crisp June Friday night, at the Centennial Pub in Helensburgh, shedders welcomed the community to share in Hanley Bistro's fine food, learn about the Men's Shed, our service to 2508, and our growth over the past decade.
Publicans John and Trevor were generous hosts, giving the shedders space to display pictures of shed life and a portfolio of projects, and to welcome people for a chat.
But if you missed us, not to worry, there will be more Burgh events and projects happening throughout the year, supporting our community and bringing the Shed to you.
