Great effort across the board

Coledale Beach turned on a fantastic day of surfing for Pointscore #6 on June 28, with conditions that kept competitors on their toes. With the tide shifting throughout the day, surfers across all divisions were challenged to adapt as the waves changed hour by hour.
It was great to see such strong participation across the board. Congratulations to everyone who got involved and gave it a go, and a special well done to our division winners, A Grade’s Fin McLaren and Open Women’s Zahlia Short, who each took home meal vouchers courtesy of Headlands Austinmer Beach.
A special mention from the Over 55s final – it was fantastic to see Ian Ando and Michael Smoley back in the water and enjoying their surfing again as part of their health journey. A big thank you to everyone who helped make the day such a success.
Shortboard Titles set for Wollongong
The prestigious Australian Shortboard Titles will be held in Wollongong from August 24–30, 2026. All six surfing states are set to go head-to-head for national glory. It's a chance to see multiple generations of the nation’s top surfers share the lineup.
