Have you booked your Seniors Festival tickets? We’re inviting our community to celebrate NSW Seniors Festival with us from Friday 25 March to Sunday 3 April.
Tickets are available right now to an array of Seniors Festival events here in Wollongong, including the ever-popular Lady Mayoress Afternoon Tea, music and dance events, watercolour painting workshops, apple picking, walking football, Greek Luncheon and much, much more!
Wollongong City Lord Mayor Councillor Gordon Bradbery AM said that this year the NSW Seniors Festival theme is Reconnect, a timely reminder for people to reach out and connect with others
“Each year our city puts on a number of great events, workshops and activities for our community to enjoy. This year is no exception and we’re pleased to share the program which features fantastic talks, tours, workshops, dance and music events, exhibitions, afternoon teas, lunches and more. There are plenty of opportunities to explore new interests, and many of the programs are also free, it’s simply a matter of making a booking online or with our Customer Service team,” Cr Bradbery said.
“This year’s theme, Reconnect, is a significant message. We’ve learnt over the past two years of uncertainty and lockdowns that it’s our relationships and connections with others that helps us keep afloat during challenging times.
“This Seniors Festival we’re encouraging our residents to find new and meaningful ways to reconnect with their loved ones, friends and broader community. I encourage all of our senior residents to take a look at this year’s Festival calendar. There’s a lot on offer with something to interest everyone.”
