- Guided rainforest walks at 11am on Saturdays and Sundays (bookings essential via Eventbrite)

Friendly volunteers will be at the gate to welcome visitors, share insights, and answer questions about the Gardens.

“We’re excited to showcase the beauty and heritage of the Gardens this spring,” said Bruce Christie, IRRG President.
“It’s not just about the flowers, but also the history, the weddings, and the wonderful volunteers who keep this place thriving.”
Nestled in the foothills of Mount Pleasant, the Illawarra Rhododendron & Rainforest Gardens feature spectacular plantings and native rainforest, lovingly maintained by dedicated volunteers.
