Toastmasters marks 600th meeting
Helensburgh Toastmasters is inviting new members to check out the longstanding club
In March 1998, Helensburgh and District Toastmasters was founded with locals and other Toastmasters all sharing a goal: to improve their public speaking and confidence. Twenty-eight years later, the club still meets in Helensburgh and members from outside the area Zoom in.
Over the last few years, we’ve hosted Contests, we’ve had members achieve 25 and 10 years of continued membership, and other members end up in the top three of Contests. Our club has helped people with wedding speeches and job interviews.
On the 23rd of May, Helensburgh Toastmasters will be celebrating its 600th meeting.
With our club now meeting in the Community Rooms, the safe space is perfect for anyone needing to develop their communication skills and step up in leadership. The club has been a part of the Toastmasters Community for almost 30 years and needs those who are willing to take the first step and join.
Our club meets on the 2nd and 4th Monday at 7pm; if you can’t make it in person,
the Zoom link is available.
